BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Rita Bowles
President

Rita Bowles has been involved in the healthcare field since 1992 when
she came to work at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.  Her primary emphasis has always been in the area of training.  She, along with co-author Shea Rabley, developed the first training course for Personal Care Aides offered by DHEC. 

Rita holds the title of Health Information Technology Professional, in addition to her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.  She also serves in a leadership capacity for two additional foundations - one supporting a residential summer camp for individuals with cognitive disabilities and the other which provides health education to at-risk communities through a faith-based ministry.  She spends her spare time rescuing Golden Retrievers.

Mrs. Rabley is retired from the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control and is a consultant on TB and other related matters.

Mr. Herbert is employed by the S.C. Department of Mental Health.

Mrs. Painter is the Division Director of the Tuberculosis Control Program at the SC Department of Health & Environmental Control (SCDHEC).

Mrs. Williams is works in the Infection Prevention Division at PRISMA Health in Columbia, South Carolina

Donald Wood
Executive Director

Mr. Wood is employed by Capitol Consultants, an association management and lobbying firm in Columbia, SC. He serves as the Executive Director of the SC Tuberculosis Association.
